Nevada Academic Content Areas and Standards

The Nevada Academic Content Standards (NVACS) define what students should know and be able to do by the end of each grade. Standards are not curriculum, instructional practices, or teaching strategies; instead, they serve as the foundation for developing curriculum and guiding effective instruction. NVACS help ensure consistent expectations for student learning across the state.
